Peahats are recurring enemies from The Legend of Zelda franchise. One Peahat has crossed over into the WarioWare series, in which it appears in a microgame in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. Peahats, like Wario, have physically appeared in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.

WarioWare series[edit]

In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, a Peahat is featured as an obstacle in levels 2 and 3 of the microgame The Legend of Zelda. In level 2, Peahat is the only obstacle that Link must avoid, whereas level 3 requires Link to also avoid energy balls shot by a Zora. Peahat has two sprites, both of which were reused from the first The Legend of Zelda game, let alone the microgame's graphics themselves. Peahat's sprite was made a brighter orange than in The Legend of Zelda, and the petals in their sprite are dark orange instead of dark red.

In WarioWare Gold, the Peahat returns in the same The Legend of Zelda microgame, in which it retains the same role. Peahat's sprites are no longer altered from its original appearance in The Legend of Zelda.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Peahats are enemies in Smash Run, and they are designed after their appearance from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. They float and can spawn their larvae to fly directly toward the player. They can also spin rapidly at the player, during which they cannot be physically attacked, and deal high damage to the player if they get touched.

They'll also spin rapidly if you get too close, cutting you like a kinfe. Yep, they're powerful foes indeed, but the rewards for taking them down are great.
